  • A Paper Artist in Progress: Layla May Arthur

    Thurs 23 May to Sun 30 June, 10:30am to 6pm at Capital House. Layla May Arthur is a paper artist from Jersey who crafts paper entirely by hand. She cuts elaborate patterns and entices sculptural forms.

  • Artist Talk with Layla May Arthur

    Sat 25 May 12pm - 1pm. Layla May Arthur will be delivering an artist talk on her exhibition, A Paper Artist in Progress, in ArtHouse Jersey's Capital House. She will be joined by musician, Christina Orchard who has composed the musical score. Free to attend.

  • Cryptic at ArtHouse Jersey

    Fri 14 June, 7pm at Greve de Lecq Barracks. A welcome return of Scotland’s Cryptic as part of an ongoing exchange with ArtHouse Jersey connecting new Scottish audio-visual artists SHHE & Konx-om-Pax. Tickets £5.

  • ArtHouse Jersey Pop Up Exhibition

    Sat 29 & Sun 30 June, 10am to 5pm at Greve de Lecq Barracks. This exhibition is a collaboration by artists who took part in a painting course led by Jacque Rutter; Susan Ann McGarry, Sue Harris, Jane Reed, Annie Martland and Shelley Godden

  • What Shadow? (Ce Que Dit la Bouche d'Ombre)

    Thurs 11- Sun 28 July, 10:30am to 6pm at Capiaal House, an exhibition which presents the work of contemporary French, Jersey and Guernsey based artists, working individually and through collaborative dialogue.

  • Fête de la Musique

    Sat 22 June, various locations around St Helier. ArtHouse Jersey is partnering with Jersey Opera House, Alliance Française and Maison de la Normandie et de la Manche for Jersey’s own take on the annual Fete de la Musique. Check our website closer to the time for line-up!

  • Générateur de Tensions & Ventilator (Tension Generator & Ventilator)

    Thurs 18 July at Capital House, 7-8pm. This double-bill of performances by Paris-based sound artist and composer Camille Lacroix is inspired from research around a text by Marcel Duchamp. Tickets £10.

  • Jérôme Bel by Jérôme Bel

    Fri 19 & Sat 20 July, 7pm at Greve de Lecq Barracks. The English language premiere of “Jérôme Bel”, a new work by the seminal French choreographer Jérôme Bel. Playful, visceral and conceptual dance work. Tickets: £20.

  • Burn to Shine by Patricia Allio

    Thurs 25 July, 7pm at Jersey Museum. We are delighted to present an extraordinary new film work by artist Patricia Allio. This “docu-fiction” is a meditation through history, queerness and Breton language and culture. Tickets £10.

  • ‘You, Me & The Sea’ Pop Up exhibition

    Sat 3 and Sun 4 August, 10am to 5pm at Greve de Lecq Barracks. This exhibition will celebrate the work created by primary students during our ‘You, Me & The Sea’ summer workshops. The art on display will be mixed media, inspired by the coast.

  • Butterfield Public Art Series

    Sculptural artist Kaarina Kaikkonen is commissioned to create an outdoor installation work to be revealed to the public in August 2024 in the centre of St Helier. This series is solely sponsored by Butterfield.

  • Inside / Out 16

    Fri 16 to Sun 25 August at Capital House. The States of Jersey Prison Service is proud to present Inside Out 16, a unique exhibition featuring a collection of art created by Prisoners from HM La Moye Prison. Each piece tells a story, offering glimpses into personal journeys.

  • Karl Murphy & collaborators: I Extend My Arms

    Fri 6- Sun 15 Sept at Capital House. Queer artists Karl Murphy, Lewis G Burton, Yasmine Akim, Dr. Adam Perchard, & Jack Killick draw inspiration from the work and lives of Claude Cahun & Marcel Moore.

  • Dementia Jersey Pop Up: Our Day Out

    Sat 7 & Sun 8 Sept, 10am to 5pm at Greve de Lecq Barracks. Dementia Jersey proudly exhibits artworks created by their Art Exploration groups inspired by Our Day Out. Coinciding with International Alzheimer’s Awareness month.

  • Pop Up: Freya Rabet, Gigi Cooke and Lucinda Wakeham

    Sat 14 & Sun 15 Sept, 10am to 5pm at Greve de Lecq Barracks. Freya is a textile artist, Gigi recently graduated with a degree in Furniture and Product Design and Lucinda is a hobby potter.
