Programme Coordinator

Amy joined ArtHouse Jersey as Programme Coordinator in 2024, after having worked in various roles across the arts, education and charity sectors. Originally from Leicester, she went on to study in Falmouth, gaining a Foundation diploma in Art & Design, she then attended university in Bristol, graduating with a BA in Animation from the University of the West of England. Amy was later employed by the university as a Student Project Coordinator and Programme Support Assistant to UWE’s Visual Culture team as well as its UAL Foundation course in Art & Design. She worked with undergraduate students to coordinate and edit the university's first edition of 'Visual Encounters' an online academic journal released in 2023. Amy has also supported the Visual Culture Research Group in Bristol as their Website Coordinator.

Having previously worked as an animation tutor for the British Film Institute’s Animation Academy, she still enjoys running stop-motion animation workshops from time to time. She has assisted in the making of several animated short films and has had her own work selected in film festivals internationally. Amy’s interests span across art, film, craft and sound. Since moving to the island, she is enjoying Jersey life, exploring cliffs, coasts and admiring the Jersey cows.
