CHANNEL ISLANDS TOURING FUND

This fund, which launched in 2023, is an initiative to better enable artists from the Channel Islands to engage in professional development through touring opportunities and wider cultural exchange between both Islands.

The Channel Islands Touring Fund is an initiative of ArtHouse Jersey and Guernsey Arts in association with Jersey’s Creative Island Partnership and funded by the Government of Jersey and Guernsey Arts. Now in its third year, the fund has been set up to better enable music artists from the Channel Islands to engage in professional development through touring opportunities, as well as promoting a wider cultural exchange between both Islands. Musicians from both Jersey and Guernsey are invited to apply to cover travel costs relating to touring to perform across the Channel Islands, Normandy and Brittany as well as venues and promoters producing events for Channel Islands musicians.

Since launching in 2023, the Channel Islands Touring Fund has supported many bands and artists from Jersey and Guernsey to tour festivals and venues including Chaos Festival, The Vault (Guernsey), La Beltane Festival (Sark), The Blue Note, St James and Bergefest (Jersey). These opportunities have enabled artists to expand their reach, strengthen professional networks and reinvest in their creative practice.
