JOIN OUR
VOLUNTEERS

Be the heartbeat of our Island’s art scene.

Whether you’re assisting with public engagement, helping to deliver exciting art events or simply offering your driving skills for the day, there are many ways you can be involved with ArtHouse Jersey through volunteering.

WHY VOLUNTEER?

We don’t just hang pictures on walls; we create ambitious, life-changing experiences that ripple across our Island. If you believe that art is a necessity, not a luxury, we want you on our team. We’re looking for the bold, the energetic and the art-curious to help us bring creativity to every corner of our community. Volunteering is a way to meet a whole range of creative people, the artists, the producers, the curators, and all those who are invisible behind the scenes helping to deliver the projects that we do.

WHAT ARE THE PERKS?

Our volunteers willingly donate their time and skills to support a cause they care about, for art industry experience and to develop new skills, to make a welcome difference, and to be part of a fun and creative group of like-minded people.

Each volunteer is given an ArtHouse Jersey branded t-shirt or jumper, and early access to talks, workshops and exhibition launches.

READY TO MAKE AN IMPACT?

We have a massive calendar for 2026 and we welcome your support. Check out our upcoming projects and drop your name in the hat via our expression of interest form. Note: we wish we could take everyone, but spots are limited based on project needs. Sign up early to stay in the loop!

Types of volunteer opportunities

  • Exhibition Steward

Located at our vibrant indoor spaces like Capital House or Studio 2, Greve de Lecq, this role is perfect for those who love people and art in equal measure. You’ll be the first point of contact for our visitors - welcoming them, sharing the stories behind the artworks, and ensuring everyone feels at home in the space. It’s a front-row seat.

  • Public Engagement

These roles take you to the centre of our public art initiatives, both indoors and out. As an ambassador, you’ll help bring our larger projects to life by guiding visitors, supporting event logistics, and capturing feedback that helps us grow. You’re there to ensure the atmosphere is positive and that every visitor leaves inspired.

  • Behind the Scenes

If you enjoy the delivery side of the arts, this is where you belong. These roles are varied and vital, supporting everything from the physical installation of exhibitions to tracking our social media feedback and evaluation data. Whether you’re handy with a paintbrush or great with an spreadsheet, your skills help us turn ambitious ideas into reality.
