Carrie Cooper

Head of Communications

Carrie began her career in broadcasting and content creation in 1998 and has since established herself as a versatile media and communications professional. She has worked as a broadcast journalist, presenter, and producer for Spain’s Global Radio and the BBC, gaining extensive experience in both live broadcasting and content development. Her work has included reporting on major issues affecting local communities as well as producing cultural and lifestyle programming.

Carrie has also contributed her expertise beyond traditional broadcasting. She served as publicist for the Branchage International Film Festival, promoting independent cinema and engaging diverse audiences, and went on to work with New York–based media solutions organisation Focus 360 LLC as UK Music Specialist and the British voice of the company’s productions. Until the pandemic, she was a regular presenter and reporter for the BBC, where she covered stories central to Jersey’s community life, from political developments to social and cultural affairs.

Today, Carrie is Head of Communications at ArtHouse, where she leads on strategic communications and public engagement. She also lends her skills to non-profit organisations, advising on communications strategy and messaging to help them strengthen their reach and impact. In addition, she works as a voice-over artist, bringing clarity and character to a wide range of productions..
