Join us for the Opening of Fish Wish - Paîsson d’Pâssion at the Central Market. Over the past 12 weeks, artists Esther Rose Parkes and Karen Le Roy Harris have transformed the Fish Market unit into a creative studio and community space, gathering wishes from market traders, visitors, and the wider community. These wishes have been folded into origami fish, knotted into fishing rope, and brought to life through an immersive installation, a soundscape, and a specially composed choir piece.

To celebrate this powerful artwork, we invite you to a special one-off performance of the choir piece sung by market traders and local community members around the installation. Come, listen, reflect, and add your own wish to this evolving shared space.

We encourage you to book dinner after the opening from 7pm at Casa Paco or La Bouche in the market.
