ArtHouse Jersey is delighted to be working with Jersey Festival of Words to present a unique collaboration between words and image. Look out for further details of accompanying events and workshops closer to the date. 

Soman Woman for One Woman brings together the words of Jersey-based Irish poet Danielle Mynes with visual artist Jacque Rutter, giving voice and space to female experience. The collection features twenty-two poems and is inspired by the poet’s lived experiences and perspectives. The merging of two powerful mediums takes you on a journey and serves as both a political commentary on the violence women experience daily and their enduring fortitude, and women’s capacity to love and heal the world in everyday actions.
