Kupala Festival will bring the warmth and wonder of traditional Slavic summer celebrations to the Island's stunning north coast as part of our ambitious Abundant Futures project, sponsored by Spoor & Fisher Jersey. Taking place on Saturday 19 July from 2 to 7pm at Grève de Lecq, this free, family-friendly festival promises an afternoon of creativity, craft, music, and food, against the backdrop of one of Jersey's most beautiful coastal settings.
Kupala Festival celebrates the abundance of summertime through ancient traditions that feel surprisingly fresh and relevant today. Curated by Ukrainian-born artist Olha Pryymak and forming a key part of Abundant Futures - a long-term socially engaged project led by Dana Olărescu - the festival brings together makers and performers from across Jersey's diverse community, including artists from Ukraine, Somalia, Portugal, Ireland, and Jersey itself.
Free entry, no booking necessary.
