‘Reframing Dementia’ is a photographic exhibition designed to challenge preconceptions. Featuring real people living with dementia, it captures strength, diversity, joy, skills, love, support, and optimism among its subjects.  It celebrates them as real people, not solely defined by their diagnosis.

By shifting the narrative from one of despair to possibility, we can better appreciate the capabilities and potential of people living with dementia. We can give hope to those with a recent diagnosis, reducing stigma and promoting a more inclusive and supportive society in the process.

Come along to celebrate the lives of nine remarkable islanders and be prepared to have your preconceptions challenged.
