Future Festive: A Christmas Art Market
Wednesday 10 to Sunday 21 December 2025: Deadline to apply is 21 August.
All submissions to be emailed to james@arts.je
This December, ArtHouse Jersey is presenting its first Winter Christmas Art Market over 12 days in December (with a special evening opening on Tuesday 9 December).
Alongside a fun, interactive exhibition for all ages to enjoy, at the heart of Future Festive will be a market space for Jersey artists to showcase artworks, limited editions - as well as any special ‘not-for-sale’ items - as part of the Christmas season.
ArtHouse Jersey is inviting proposals from Jersey-based artists who would like to take up a stall for the duration of Future Festive.
The conditions are as follows:
Each stall will consist of a table (approx. 1.5 x 0.75m) and some wall hanging space, so artworks for display should be of a size to fit in this area. Stalls or stall areas may be customised as best meets the requirement of each artist’s work and creative displays are welcomed!
Artists do not need to be present to attend their stalls. ArtHouse Jersey will be staffing the space and will process any purchases with each artist receiving a final balance sheet. However it is encouraged that artists attend eg, during evening openings to promote a ‘market gathering’ ambiance and opportunities for local visitors to meet and talk with the artists
All sold items will be subject to a 15% commission to ArtHouse Jersey to support its charitable work
Any work sold during Future Festive may be collected immediately. Where this is not possible, a final ‘collection day’ will take place on Mon 22 December.
Stalls with any unsold items must be collected on Mon 22 December.
To be considered for a stall at Future Festive, please submit by 21 August 2025:
A one page proposal with any supporting documentation/links of the work you intend to sale with an indicative price range for the works to be sold and also any preferences, as appropriate, for the format of presentation on the stall
An indication of your availability during the period of Monday 7 - Sunday 21 December both for the set-up and opening hours of the exhibition
All submissions to be emailed to james@arts.je
Artists will be informed if their proposal to participate in Future Festive has been accepted or not by mid-September.
