JERSEY SHORT FILM AWARD
Deadline Tuesday 1 December 2026
ArtHouse Jersey is delighted to be partnering with the 13th Parish Jersey International Film Festival to offer a new annual film award for early to mid-career Jersey short filmmakers. The award offers a £10,000 cash prize for a local filmmaker to produce their proposed short film. The premiere of the film will be screened at the 13th Parish Film Jersey International Film Festival in May 2027 and the project will also be supported through a mentorship process. The award has been made possible through the generosity of a private donor.
The film should prioritise originality within the short film genre and the potential to connect with audiences, further the filmmaker’s career and open doors to future projects. Applicants must be resident in Jersey or have a clear and active connection to the Island. The film should be mostly filmed in Jersey with clear information on the production and film schedule as well as proposed locations. Filmmakers must be proposing a new short film project that has not yet started production.
Please read the award guidelines and you can complete the application form via these links. The deadline to apply is Tuesday 1 December 2026.
