Exciting commissioning opportunity for local visual artists

ArtHouse Jersey is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for local visual artists after having been approached by a large, international financial company based in St Helier that wishes to commission two pieces of original work. The financial company, which wishes to remain anonymous at this point, has asked ArtHouse Jersey to help source the two artists to each create a piece of art with a budget of up to £4,000 each for its St Helier offices. The company wants one of the pieces to be figurative or portraiture, which speaks toJersey as a place and the people who make it what it is, championing the localcommunity and celebrating the Island’s diversity. The other should be a small sculpture, which can be of any style, for its lobby space that speaks to the Island’s uniqueness. Both pieces need to be completed by mid-May.
