ArtHouse Jersey is delighted to announce its new ‘Artist In Residence Programme’. The initiative, sponsored by Carey Olsen, sees ArtHouse Jersey match talented local artists with local Jersey charities to offer creative activities and inspiration to their clients.

Today sees the launch of The Man Up Project, a short film created by local musician turned filmmaker Ben O’Shea. Supported by both ArtHouse Jersey and Crestbridge, the film explores the reality of men’s mental health in Jersey, right in the middle of national Mental Health Awareness Week.

Joss MacDonald, a locally born actor and artist with UK-based theatre company ‘Project Lockout’ is set to release his latest piece of performance art online this coming Friday 27 November 2020 on ArtHouse Jersey Presents.

Children across the Island have been taking part in the largest mural project produced so far by ArtHouse Jersey. The Skipton School Mural project has seen fifteen artists – thirteen local and two international – work with around 700 local children to create a collection of unique murals, one at each school involved with the project.

For the last few months, artists have been visiting schools across the island to deliver workshops as part of the Skipton School Mural Project.
