Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 September 2026, 10am to 5pm ArtHouse Jersey studios at Greve de Lecq Barracks
ArtHouse Jersey is pleased to announce the latest in their Collins Pop Up Exhibition Series, a programme of weekend exhibitions held throughout the year at their Grève de Lecq Barracks studios. The upcoming show on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 November features tailor Elizabeth Radcliffe and textile designer Miranda Bonn (Little Coconut). The theme of the exhibition is ‘Behind the scenes’ showcasing the process behind the artists’ practices from the initial textile design, through the textile print process, pattern cutting and then garment construction. It will explore how original drawings, paintings, inspiration imagery, and colour studies are developed into patterns for both interior and fashion applications.
Elizabeth Radcliffe is a Savile Row-trained bespoke tailor who crafts timeless, elegant, and beautifully constructed garments. Elizabeth’s work shines a light on the slow goods movement and making mindful choices when shopping. She will be showcasing a range of tailored garments, which are made to order. A range of carefully curated cloths chosen to be infinitely wearable and timeless in style.
“I'm really excited to be exhibiting at Greve de Lecq Barracks with Miranda. It's a wonderful opportunity to open up our creative processes and share the thinking, skill and craftsmanship that sit behind the finished work. Although we work in different disciplines, there's a lovely connection between what we do. Bringing textiles and tailoring together allows us to show how an idea can evolve from an initial drawing or inspiration, through fabric and design, into something tangible. I think there's something particularly special about sharing that journey, rather than simply presenting the finished product. I'm drawn to beautiful fabrics, considering details and the relationship between form, function and individuality. I believe there's real value in making things well, making them to last and understanding the hands and processes behind what we wear.”
Miranda Bonn is a textile designer and artist with a BA in Printed Textiles from Falmouth University of the Arts and an MA in Textiles from the Royal College of Art. She runs a textile design business, Little Coconut and her work is inspired by the natural environment. In this exhibition she will be presenting a range of printed textiles, from initial hand-drawn and painted artwork through to finished fabric designs.
"I'm really looking forward to exhibiting alongside Lizzie at Grève de Lecq Barracks and sharing our love of craftsmanship and the creative process. I think there's something really special about seeing how things are made. We often only see the finished product, whether that's a beautiful garment or a piece of printed fabric, but there's so much drawing, experimenting, problem-solving and making that happens along the way. My main piece for the exhibition is a bespoke textile design for the drawing room of an old Jersey cod house. Inspired by traditional Chinoiserie and the beautiful garden surrounding the home, I’ve painted flowers and wildlife to create a more contemporary, personal interpretation of the style. I'll be displaying my original hand-painted drawings alongside the digital development of the artwork, so visitors can see how the individual elements are brought together to create the final textile design. It's often a long journey from the first sketch to the finished piece, and it's lovely to have the opportunity to share that”.
The Collins Pop Up Exhibition Series is a programme of intimate weekend exhibitions featured across the year. It invites the community to enjoy the work of local artists in ArtHouse Jersey’s unique exhibition space for a short ‘pop up’ time period and provides artists with a professional space to showcase their work.
