EXCITING OPPORTUNITY ALERT! Volunteer on a film in Jersey

We're excited to be welcoming pioneering theatre-making collective Forest Fringe to Jersey in August-September for a special residency where they'll be setting out to make a film.  Forest Fringe is a collective of well respected theatre and performance-art artists who made a name for themselves for running 'the weirdest, messiest and possibly the most exciting venue at the Edinburgh Festival.'As part of this Project, Forest Fringe is actively looking to involve as many Jersey people as possible. The list of roles available can be found here. The film script is really coming together now, which has been very exciting to watch develop. Roughly speaking the concept for the film is as follows, in Forest Fringe's own words:

"Our film will be about a strange company who is paid to recreate individual's most vividly remembered dreams on a remote island off the coast of Britain. The film's narrative will slip woozily between these dream re-enactments and the more prosaic reality for the people whose job it is to create them. Our heroine has had one of her dreams re-enacted - and whilst she was immersed in it - fell in love with one of the Agency's operative. She has snuck back to the Island to take a job with the Agency and pursue her heart's desire."

Anyone interested should contact our producer Alice as soon as possible on alice@arts.je, especially for the roles that involve a longer time commitment. If possible, please send a creative CV, detailing any experience relating to the area you're interested in helping with.

Please feel free to share this post with anyone who you think might be interested in getting involved
