Following the resounding success of Emily Faye’s opening night in August, ArtHouse Jersey’s Live at the Barracks 2025 continues this autumn with one of Jersey’s most exciting and versatile musicians, Nic Dinnie, performing on Friday 24 October. Proudly sponsored by Oakglen Wealth, the series is all about showcasing exceptional local and emerging talent in the intimate, atmospheric setting of the historic Greve de Lecq Barracks.
About Nic Dinnie
A singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer, Nic Dinnie is a soulful force in Jersey’s music scene. His sound blends jazz, blues, indie and acoustic storytelling with a style that feels both effortless and deeply personal.
Originally from South Africa, where he co-founded indie-pop icons Desmond & the Tutus, Nic moved to Jersey in 2016 and quickly became a pillar of the island’s creative community. On stage, he is known for smooth, emotive and unpredictable performances—whether looping layers live, fronting a full band, or sharing stripped-back originals. Audiences can expect a set filled with groove, honesty and connection, including standout songs such as “Lose What You Never Had.”
Beyond the stage, Nic has shaped Jersey’s creative ecosystem as a producer, collaborator and sound engineer, contributing to projects like ArtHouse Jersey’s Distillery Sessions. With his Live at the Barracks headline, Nic steps fully into the spotlight, presenting a set of original material as it’s meant to be heard—raw, personal, and up close.

Tom Dingle, Director of ArtHouse Jersey, said: “Emily Faye set the bar high with a beautiful launch to this year’s Live at the Barracks, and we’re delighted to continue that momentum with Nic Dinnie. Nic is an extraordinary artist whose talent and generosity have supported Jersey’s music scene for years. This concert is his moment to shine, and audiences are in for something truly special.”
Investment Director of Oakglen Wealth Jersey, Michael Clarke, said, “We are excited to see Nic take centre stage in this remarkable series. His artistry reflects the spirit of creativity and connection that Oakglen Wealth is proud to support in Jersey. Following Emily Faye’s inspiring performance, Nic’s show is sure to be another highlight, and we’re already looking forward to welcoming Joe Rogerson in November to close the season.”
Nic’s gig will be followed by Joe Rogerson on Friday 28 November, rounding off the 2025 series with his trademark raw energy and Britpop-inspired edge.
