Sir Stephen Dalton

Sir Stephen Dalton joined the Royal Air Force in 1976 after graduating with an honours degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Bath University. His early career was spent as a frontline pilot on the Jaguar and Tornado aircraft. He subsequently commanded formations both in the United Kingdom and overseas. He also led multi-disciplinary and international teams on key programmes for over 20 years. Subsequently, Sir Stephen founded his own company and worked with major international companies / organisations advising them on the development of strategy and international engagement. By command of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Air Chief Marshal Sir Stephen Dalton was sworn into office as Lieutenant Governor of Jersey, on Monday 13 March 2017 at the start of a  five year term of office, during which he was Patron of key charities
