The installation integrates spatial audio with responsive visuals inspired by ecological practices and conservation as well as soundscapes that incorporate ambient textures and processed field recordings from Jersey’s coastal landscapes. On Saturday will be a premiere performance of new work from Jack’s upcoming album.
Jack Chown is an award-winning composer working across film and music and whose debut album, A Room To Breathe, led to performances at Glastonbury Festival and support from BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, and tastemakers like Clash and Complex. Neal Coghlan blends diverse animation techniques with emerging technologies to create visual artworks that fizz with tactility. He has worked with artistic bodies such as Marshmallow Laser Feast, the Royal Shakespeare Company and the BFI and performed work at the Barbican, The Royal Academy of Art, The Tate Modern and Glastonbury Festival.
