As a part of the Reframing Dementia exhibition, ArtHouse Jersey will be hosting Guernsey based photographer, Paul Chambers. Paul will talk about his practice using wetplate collodion photography as well as his involvement in the Reframing Dementia Project.
About the Artist: After studying fine art and working in the fields of restorative justice and theology, Paul returned to photography and became fascinated by wetplate collodion, a traditional process from the 1850s where each individual tintype plate is handcrafted to produce a single, unique portrait rendered in pure, real silver.
