You, Me and the Sea is an exhibition showcasing artwork created by families who took part in creative nature workshops at Grève de Lecq with ArtHouse Jersey.

This project is a collaboration with the CAMHS Early Intervention Team, who support families and communities to build and maintain positive mental health and wellbeing; Ocean Culture Life, who connect ocean advocates through storytelling; and the National Trust for Jersey, who bring expertise in the local natural environment.

The workshops took inspiration from the area’s dynamic coastal surroundings, offering families an opportunity to connect with nature. The natural environment can generate positive emotions such as calmness and joy, while also supporting concentration and creativity. You, Me and the Sea explores the theme of ‘nests’ through sketchbooks, printmaking, photography, storytelling, and land art.
