ArtHouse Jersey is delighted to announce the appointment of Rory Forrest to its Board of Trustees. Rory joins the board as the charity continues to grow its reach and strengthen its impact across the Island and beyond.

Rory is a highly respected legal and governance professional with more than 15 years’ experience advising senior leadership teams across a range of industries. He is the founder and principal of FractionGC, a Jersey-based consultancy providing flexible, strategic legal support to growing businesses both locally and internationally. His work enables organisations to navigate complex legal and regulatory landscapes while maintaining agility and resilience.

Before launching FractionGC, Rory spent nearly a decade at Mourant, one of Jersey’s leading law firms, where he most recently served as Chief Legal Officer. His extensive experience at board level, combined with a practical understanding of operational leadership, equips him with a unique skill set that will directly benefit ArtHouse Jersey’s long-term governance and strategic ambitions.

In addition to his professional background, Rory is a lifelong musician and an advocate for the arts as a powerful force in community building and individual expression. He is particularly passionate about fostering creativity in young people, including his own children.

“I’ve admired ArtHouse Jersey’s work for many years,” Rory said. “The organisation plays a vital role in celebrating local talent, supporting creative innovation, and engaging the community through the arts. I’m honoured to join the board at such an exciting time in its journey. I look forward to supporting the team and continuing to champion the value of the arts in Island life.”

Chair of ArtHouse Jersey, Sir Stephen Dalton, welcomed Rory to the charity’s board, saying, “We are delighted that Rory is joining the charity. His professional expertise in legal affairs and governance brings real strength to our leadership at a time when strategic clarity and operational resilience are more important than ever. Rory also brings something equally valuable, a heartfelt belief in the transformative power of the arts. His personal and professional values align beautifully with our mission. We’re confident that his contribution will help us grow as an organisation while remaining firmly rooted in the community we serve.”

Rory’s appointment reinforces ArtHouse Jersey’s ongoing commitment to organisational excellence and innovation in the creative sector. His addition to the board reflects a broader strategy to build a leadership team that blends deep professional experience with a passion for the arts and a commitment to making a positive impact.
