We are seeking new Board Trustees

ArtHouse Jersey is looking to appoint two new independent trustees to join its Board in the coming months.

ArtHouse Jersey supports artists of all disciplines to make new work for the benefit of Jersey’s local community and international audiences. The art we support has been shown in galleries, cinemas and performance venues across the world as well as in schools, care-homes and Parish halls across the Island.We are at a pivotal stage in our five-year plan where we are aiming to deliver a programme that is truly ‘world class’, in line with the Government of Jersey’s strategic aim. We are in receipt of an annual revenue grant from Government, but raise significant funds ourselves through a variety of revenue raising activities in line with the ambitious income diversification plan that we have in place.We are seeking two new independent trustees to join our Board in the coming months. The key requirements are a keen interest in developing and delivering ArtHouse Jersey’s strategic objectives along with a desire to devote time and energy to expand the organisation’s fundraising capabilities through personal and professional networks. We would of course expect an enthusiasm for the arts and are particularly interested in receiving applications from potential trustees who have expertise in areas including brand management, public relations, fundraising and those with legal experience, particularly in relation to contracts.PreviousNextThe Board holds quarterly meetings along with an annual strategy day. In addition, all trustees are expected to serve on at least one board sub-committee. The role is not remunerated. Candidates are sought from both within and beyond Jersey.ArtHouse Jersey is an active supporter of all aspects of diversity.
