In 2020 ArtHouse Jersey is coordinating a large scale, interactive exhibition in Jersey’s St Helier Town Church. We aim to explore the themes of Accessibility, Repurposing and Sense of Place. The exhibition will engage the community in this accessible, central location, open to the public for three to four weeks.

Freelance radio broadcaster, journalist and presenter Carrie Cooper travelled to the States as she set out to make 'Journey to the Heart of the Blues.' The documentary brings to life real stories of the blues as Carrie accompanies Jerseyman, musician Giles Robson to the American Blues Foundation where he was nominated for two Blues Foundation Awards.

Lulu MacDonald is a long-time friend of ArtHouse Jersey, and also one of our Seed Funding artists. Now living and working as an artist and sculptor in Hamburg, she returned to the Island this summer through our residency scheme to undertake research for a new body of work.

This month we're welcoming international art collective Forest Fringe to the Island. The group will set out to make a feature length film in just four weeks!

It was built in the early 19th century to keep Napoleon’s forces out, but from the 23rd August the Greve de Lecq Barracks will be the base of a very different type of operation: making art!
